It all begin when two cousins, (one from the Bronx - the other from Washington DC) decided that they should organize the ladies the rode motorcycles with them. Together they formed a family that the COMMUNITY would RESPECT and LOVE. On February 2, 2005, Butta Bean and Duchess made that dream what would always be known today as Sugar & Spice Motorcycle & Social Club. SEE THEIR WEBSITE Having created several illustrated portraits of DucheSS Co-founder of Sugar & Spice MSC, I was thrilled when she discussed her plans for this exciting project. She educated me to the world of motorcycle clubs, and the differences between them. I enjoyed creating thier logo, and especially seeing it embroidered on thier jackets. HISTORY: The earliest motorcycle clubs were started following World War II by pilots looking for the same thrills they experienced during the war, though the reputed oldest motorcycle club is the Yonkers MC, founded in 1903. Other notable early clubs include the San Francisco MC and the Top Hatters MC.
